1
The finished jig. I made it from a piece of 6061-T6 aluminum stock 4-3/4" in diameter by 3" long.
2
Showing the mounting clamped in the chuck.
3
Inside. The jig is back cut to allow for cut pieces and to make for the extraction.
4
The PTFE blank fits snug
5
It must be driven in with a rubber mallet.
6
The PTFE fits flush with the surface of the jig.
7
I make a first pass to round the hole and then measure it.
8
Next pass finishes the hole to size.
9
Finished cutting.
10
Extractor made from a hex head bolt clamped in the tool holder.
11
Ready to go inside.
12
The bolt head slips behind the edge of the chimney.
13
Using the carriage I extract the chimeny.
14
Pulling in one spot works fine. It all slides right out...
15
and drops onto the extractor bolt.
